3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

You may use certain features of the Service without creating an account. To access Pro features, progress saving, and analytics, you must create an account by providing a valid email address, your name, and a password.

3.2 Account Responsibility

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

4. Free and Pro Services

4.1 Free Features

The following features are available to all users without charge:

• Typing speed and accuracy tests with immediate results
• Grammar and spelling checking with correction suggestions
• Focus timer (Pomodoro technique)
• Local data storage in your browser

4.2 Pro Subscription ($5/month)

The Pro subscription unlocks additional features:

• 12 structured typing lessons with mastery tracking
• Grammar Pro Mode with themed writing prompts
• Cloud-synced progress across devices
• Detailed analytics dashboard with charts and history

4.3 Payment & Billing

• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at $5.00 USD through PayPal.
• Subscriptions automatically renew each month until cancelled.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Account page or PayPal.
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access until then.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use automated scripts, bots, or tools to access or interact with the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Create multiple accounts to abuse free features or circumvent limitations
• Share your Pro account credentials with others

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including text, graphics, logos, icons, and software — are the property of Skill Focus Lab and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

• We do not guarantee that the grammar checker will catch every error or that suggestions will always be correct.
• Typing test results are for personal improvement purposes and should not be used as official certifications.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service.
• We are not responsible for any decisions made based on information provided by the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Skill Focus Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use of or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
• Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code that may be transmitted through the Service
